Copyright Theft
Perhaps we should be flattered by the number of people including dealers who continually infringe our IP (Intellectual Property) rights by using our copyright images and blatantly copying our text, word for word in some cases such as this one, but we do not find it amusing, and will take legal action against any copyright thieves.

Bullion World is just one of the many coin dealers, bloggers & websites worldwide who commit copyright theft by using our copyright images without our permission. On their webpage they are clearly using our One Kilo Metalor Silver Bar photograph.
Bullion World appear to have tried to disguise our image by digitally altering the serial number on it. Our bar is K050294 , whereas the manipulated image has a number of K236192.

What’s Wrong?
We invest a great deal of time, effort, and cost into creating some of the best photographic coin and gold bar images on the internet. We strongly object when lazy and dishonest people decide to use them without a by your leave or thanks, doing so in competition with us. It is always possible, even likely, that sellers who steal photographs do not own a similar item, and have the intention to totally defraud potential buyers.

There are a number of problems with this:
The registrant is shown as Pura Metal, stated to be a UK individual, it seems an unlikely name. “The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service.”, but it is unlikely to be true. It looks like the site sells advertising, or takes commission, is run anonymously, and may be owned or controlled by one the the sites and companies it purports to compare. This is clearly unethical, possibly
fraudulent, constitutes unfair competition, may be in breach of Advertising Standards Authority: ASA rules, and / or Trading Standards / Trade Descriptions Act laws.
